Songs for the ages.. Disney's Cinderella song.

Hello again guys, gals and those of you who fall obscurely in between!

Well, this week was full of adventure, danger, love and suspense! No, that would be more like the tune of a movie ad. Instead, work this week has been for the most part productive. Okay, so that doesn't sound as "cool" as a movie, but it does pay the bills. So anyway, overall WinCustomize has seemed to improve in stability. (Somewhat anyway. That is, not as many servers had to be restarted and it actually survived all through last weekend with out a single restart!)

On the production side of things, we got a lot done. I finished a concept of the new Stardock Forums and worked with Andrew to get that code finalized. He did the crazy code to run the forums; I updated his code to make it look nice. Seems to work for me! We also applied this same procedure to updating TotalGaming.net's forums as well. I'm not certain when that will become available to the general public.

Also, did quite a bit of cosmetic features-- Things like, adding time stamps to comments on JoeUser, WinCustomize, & GalCiv2, as well as adding link headers on the TotalGaming.net main site using good old fashion IMAGEMAPs. -- Haven't use one forever. Added a nicer message on GalCiv2 forums for those users not yet logged in when viewing a post that would encourage them to login... -- included a cute picture of a little puppy with it's glossy eyes just begging the user to login -- a nice touch! * Lastly, added a link to the owner of an articles Blog site in the JoeUser forums; much like how it is displayed when you are in the articles part of the site. This helps add consistency to the site.

Finally, A added several other small updates that aren't to exciting, but I'll just briefly mention them below:
-Updated/Added a recent forums post header graphic to the new TGN forums (soon to be announced I'm sure) And a few other little graphics to the page.
-Fixed a CSS issue with a few of the links on the TGN forums not displaying correctly.
-Updated the TGN forums "info" page with the new design and also updated the Stardock forums "info" page to the new design that it had.
-Did some more tech support, and helped a few people with some issues they where having about their accounts. Got a nice complement from one of our customers about the "quality" of my support assistance... *blushes* -- oh yeah.. I'm good... real good.
--Assisted Pat (T-Man) with some JavaScript questions he had. I love JavaScript. *hugs Sun MicroSystems*

That's about it for me. These are the things I've done this week so far (from what I've written down anyway). I'm sending you this a little early again since I'm not sure if I'll have a chance to post later in the day.

Okay, I've got to get back to work. I hope everyone has enjoyed this Blog as much as I have writing it. Take care everyone!

I don't know if this is anything you can do, but the site seems to be quite slow after the move.

hehe.. I'll let you know.. I'm testing this locally on my machine here at work. It still needs to be uploaded to production after it has been tested.

Yeah, we're in the process of tracking down why we get this error. I got that error a few minutes ago too. As you can see, when this error happens, the whole site bites the big one...

Any ideas? Happens with every one every time.
